Obsecro te, Angelici spiritus, cui ego ad providendam emissus sum, ut custodias me indesinenter et protegas me ab incursu diaboli, vigilantem et dormientem, nocte et die, horis continuis et momentis conferre mecum ubicumque fuero. Repelle a me omnem tentationem Sathanae, et quod mea merita non extinguunt, tuis precibus obtine apud misericordissimum Judicem, ut nulla in me vel loci non habeat contrariae virtutis adimixtio. Cumque me deviam per abruptam viciorum errare prospexeris, ad redemptorem meum reducere satagas. English Prayer (I Beseech Thee, Angelic Spirit):

I beseech thee, angelic spirit, whom I by providence have been entrusted to, to guard me unceasingly and protect me from the assaults of the devil, both while I'm awake and while I'm asleep, day and night, without interruption. Repel from me every temptation of Satan, and that which my merits do not extinguish, obtain for me through thy prayers before the most merciful Judge, so that no contrary strength may have a place in me. And whenever thou foresee me straying through the steep places of vices, trouble thyself to lead me back to my redeemer. And in whatever distress, trouble, and sadness you may see me, may I feel the help of Almighty God through your intercession.
